On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport at 20h55 with British Airways BA65, you will be met outside arrivals by a driver from Four Points by Sheraton, to shuttle you across the short distance to the hotel

10th August: Nairobi to Laikipia

This morning at 08h45, you will be met in the hotel lobby by a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’ to transfer you across to Wilson Airport for your Safarilink scheduled flight departing at 10h20 to Nanyuki, arriving approx. 11h20.

10th to 12th August: Own arrangements with Susie Weeks

16th August - Olepangi Farm to El Karama

This morning, you will be collected from Olepangi by a driver organised by El Karama Lodge, at 10h00,  to transfer across to the Lodge.

16th to 20th August: El Karama Lodge, Laikipia

El Karama Lodge is an intimate, owner-operated lodge and safari adventure experience located on a private wildlife conservancy in the foothills of Mount Kenya. This very private lodge is located in the foothills of Mount Kenya, in the heart of one of Kenya's most beautiful wildlife conservancies. With 14,000 acres of private land and views of over 200,000 acres, El Karama is one of Laikipia's most magical habitats which you can explore on foot, in vehicles or even on horseback. Home to several endemic and endangered species including the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Hippo, Greater Kudu, Aardwolf, Aardvark, African Hunting Dogs to name but some of the wildlife found here.  The landscapes are diverse, incredibly beautiful and the safari experience unforgettable, especially for families. A highlight for families with small children is the El Karama Bush School, available from 10am to 12:30pm daily, with a host of exciting activities geared perfectly towards little kids, whilst the parents relax and soak up their surroundings.

20th August: Nanyuki to Lamu, North Coast

This morning, you will be transferred back to Nanyuki airstrip by El Karama, to meet your scheduled Safarilink flight departing at 11h30, arriving into Wilson Airport, Nairobi, at 13h15. You will then connect with the Safarilink flight to Lamu departing at 14h15. On arrival in Lamu, a representative from Manda Bay will be there to welcome you and take you by boat across to the resort.

20th to 24th August: Manda Bay, Lamu

Manda Bay is a small privately owned boutique lodge located on the northern tip of Manda Island in the Lamu archipelago on Kenya’s coast. An unspoilt, secluded location where you can switch off from the rest of the world, take your shoes off and enjoy simplistic beauty in palm thatched cottages and open living spaces. Manda Bay combines the ultimate bush and beach experience with miles of soft white sand on a private beach and Coconut palms mixed with Doum palms, Acacia Tortilis and a variety of wildlife.

Activities include kayaking, sailing, windsurfing & SUP boarding. Also available but at an extra cost are deep sea fishing, all motorised activities, snorkelling & applicable conservation fees, spa treatments, archaeological visits, Lamu excursions & tours and a Dhow cruise.

24th August: Lamu to Nairobi/ Depart

This afternoon, you will be transferred by boat back across to Lamu Airport for your Safarilink scheduled flight departing at 15h55. On arrival at 17h55, a driver from Airports & Beyond will transfer you across to Jomo Kenyatta Airport to check-in for your British Airways BA64 flight departing at 22h50.
