26th December: Arrival/ Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport on British Airways at 21h30, you will be met by a representative from Tradewinds and escorted through immigration & customs and out to your hotel shuttle service to take you across to the Four Points by Sheraton

27th December: Nairobi to Masai Mara

This morning at 09h00, you will be met by a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’, and taken across to Wilson Airport to check-in for your 10h00 private charter flight with East African Air Charters, arriving in the Masai Mara at 10h45.

27th to 29th December: Richard’s Camp, Masai Mara

On arrival you will be met at the airstrip by a guide from Richard’s Camp and game drive back to Camp where you will have time to settle into your tents before lunch.

The Masai Mara is located in South Western Kenya & together with Tanzania’s Serengeti it forms one of the world's most diverse and spectacular eco-systems. With riverine forest and short grass plains, this area is renowned for the most exceptional big game viewing worldwide.

Richard's River Camp offers the discerning traveller a luxury tented camp in the very heart of the Masai Mara. Designed with privacy, exclusivity as well as adventure in mind they ensure a warm and memorable safari.

For the next couple of days you will be able to relax and enjoy all the daily adventures on offer, including day and night game drives, birding and scenic bush walks, sundowners, bush meals and cultural visits to a local Masai Village nearby. At an additional cost are hot air balloon flights, please try to book these in advance with us.

29th December: Masai Mara to Lamu

This morning you will be driven across to the airstrip to meet your East African Air Charters flight departing at 10h00 and arriving in Lamu at 12h20.

29th December to 5th January: The Moon Houses, Lamu

On arrival, a representative from The Moon Houses will meet you at Lamu airport to take you across to Shela by boat and transfer you to your accommodation.

You will be transferred back across to Lamu airport by boat to check-in for your East African Air Charters flight departing at 17h30 landing at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi at 19h10 for your onward British Airways connection.
