On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport on Emirates EK719 at 14h40, you will be met outside arrivals by a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’ and transferred across to Fairmont The Norfolk.

4th to 7th January: Fairmont the Norfolk

7th January: Nairobi to Masai Mara

This morning at 08h30 you will be collected by a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’ to transfer you across to Wilson Airport to check-in for your Safarilink flight departing at 10h00 to the Masai Mara.

7th to 13th January: Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, Masai Mara

The Masai Mara is located in South Western Kenya & together with Tanzania’s Serengeti it forms one of the world's most diverse and spectacular eco-systems.

Sprawled along the Saparingo River on the edge of the Oloololo escarpment, where riverine forest meets the sweeping plains in the seasonal path of the awe-inspiring Great Migration, the Kichwa Tembo Camp provides an authentic dose of African wildlife, delivered with legendary Kenyan hospitality.

Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is situated on the western border of the game rich, Masai Mara National Reserve, in the Mara Triangle – the most productive part of the Mara ecosystem. Meaning ‘head of the elephant’ in Kiswahili, Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is set on a private concession leased from Maasai landlords.
Lying at the base of the Oloololo Escarpment just below the area where Out of Africa’s most famous scene was shot, the camp overlooks the plains of the Masai Mara with game frequently viewed in front of the camp.

Activities available include unforgettable game drives in customised, open vehicles where you can expect to encounter large numbers of plains game and spectacular predator interaction. The location, on a private concession not only has some of the best views in the Mara, but enables guests to take part in activities such as walks and night drives that are not available in the national reserve. Bush breakfasts and dinners, as well as authentic cultural interactions can also be arranged.

13th January- Masai Mara to Naivasha

This morning you will be transferred back across to the airstrip to meet your return Safarilink flight departing at 11h00. On arrival at Wilson Airport at 12h20, a driver from ‘Airports & Beyond’ will be there to meet you to take you approx 1.5hrs by road to Lake Naivasha.

13th to 17th January: The Dairy, Naivasha

Now a beautiful new pink brick barn-like house, with high ceilings, held up by pale rafters and thick tree trunks all down the long room – at one end a pale blue open fully equipped kitchen with a fun sitting room and fire place adorned by big windows at the other end of the room. Comfortable seats and lovely dining table in the middle makes this house just one of a kind.

On either side of the long Barn, are two beautifully furnished ensuite bedrooms, with windows looking out over green fields dotted with wild animals and a charming loft room up the stairs with a big bed a veranda and washroom. Giraffe walk by during the day and hippos munch on the lawn at night.

The Dairy is a self catering house – however fresh milk arrives in a glass bottle every morning for your tea and coffee. Delicious homemade dishes and all kinds of breads and pastries can be ordered from the Farm menus as well as a basket of organic vegetables and eggs. Lunch and dinner can also be served at the lovely Lodge “Olerai House” only 500m from The Dairy.

Guided walks in the sanctuary and swimming and lazing at Sirocco Pool surrounded by wild animals is included in your stay - for all other activities in the surrounding area the Olerai manager will be able to assist.

17th January: Naivasha to Nairobi/ Fairmont the Norfolk

This morning you will check-out of The Dairy and be driven back to Nairobi and to The Norfolk for your final afternoon/evening

18th January: Depart

An ‘Airports & Beyond’ driver will transfer you across to Jomo Kenyatta Airport in time to check-in for your 16h45 departure with Emirates EK720.
