DAY 8 - 13: Karisia Shaba Wilderness Camp

From Nalarai you will be boarding Karisia vehicles and driving East across rugged country to the North of the Mukogodo Escarpment. The vehicles will be pass to the South of a Samburu National Park and they will run parallel with the Ewaso Nyiro River as it runs from West to East. During our entire half day drive today we will only 2 minutes on the paved Marsabit Rd as we pass over it from Buffalo Springs Reserve to Shaba Reserve. Both of these conservation areas will be accessible during our stay in Shaba.
