House
of Waine - 1 Night
Your
first night will be spent outside Nairobi in the lovely
House of Wayne, a beautiful property in the wooded Langata
neighborhood of Nairobi. Each of the luxurious rooms
are en suite with a beautiful view of the gardens and
the pool.

The following day take a flight north, hopefully getting a
glimpse of Mount Kenya as you pass by on the way to Meru National
Park. Meru was made famous by Joy Adamson's novel, Born Free
which told the story of Elsa, a lion that she and her husband,
George raised and later rehabilitated to the wild. Game drives
though this beautiful scenery will often be rewarded with
the shy Lesser Kudu or the Grevy Zebra.
ELSA’S
KOPJE - 3 nights
This
breathtaking lodge is on Mughwango Hill, the site of George
Adamson’s first camp in Meru and is an ideal beginning
to your honeymoon safari. Each cottage has been exquisitely
built with natural materials and faces east so you can watch
the sunrise from your bed.

From
Meru you will take a flight over the Aberdares, the Rift Valley
and on, to the plains of the Masai Mara. Each day you will take
game drives and immerse yourself in this vast grassland ecosystem
teeming with wildlife. An early morning hot air balloon flight
over the Mara is the perfect way to start the day.
REKERO
TENTED CAMP - 4 nights
This
is a small luxury camp in the heart of the Mara Game Reserve.
It is beautifully furnished and hosted by Gerard and Rainee
Beaton and the local masai. This is a great camp from which
to observe the wildebeest migration, with river crossings
occurring just infront of the main dining area. |

KIZINGO
– 3 nights
A
romantic Beach lodge on Lamu Island with airy cottages looking
out on to the ocean. Kizingo is on the wildside of Lamu
island so that visitors can enjoy empty beaches with town
only a gentle dhow ride away. The food is excellent and
each day a new assortment of seafood is prepared. Snorkeling,
Fishing and even swimming with dolphins are all offered
at this wonderful, small low key resort. Kizingo is an ideal
way to complete your honeymoon safari.
